Poor Angelina Haglund; she has to wait thirteen years between lottery wins. That's because she wins the lottery every 13 years. But, wouldn't it be better if she one every 12 months? Oh well, some people just don't have the luck.
All kidding aside, Angelina Haglund is pretty lucky. In 1993, she won $50,000 on an instant scratch lottery game. Then in 2006, she purchased a $1 Million Players Club ticket from CT Lottery. This is a lotto ticket that costs $30. And, it's a good thing she bought it because it turned out to be another winner! $1 million!
CT Lottery's $1 Million Players Club instant scratch game had 4 prizes of $1 million, of which Angelina claimed one. It also had smaller prizes, including $10,000 and $500.
With her winnings, Angelina Haglund said she would pay off some bills, buy a car, help her kids, and put the rest in the bank.
It's a good thing she planned to bank some of it because based on her luck, she won't win the lottery again until 2019.
