Harry Kryhul, a retired RCMP Staff Sergeant and his wife, Annie, won the BCLC jackpot of $2 million. Harry, 76 years old, was shopping for groceries at South Main Market in Penticton, BC, Canada. He completed his grocery shopping, went outside, then realized that he forgot to buy yogurt. He went back in for the yogurt and the cash register totalled $6.49 for the purchase. So, he bought a lottery ticket. And, lucky enough for him, it was a winner. All that for forgetting to buy yogurt.
So, what does the couple plan on doing with their big windfall? They are planning to go on a trip. I'm sure that wherever they go, they'll end up eating some yogurt!
We congratulate Harry and Annie Kryhul on their big win!
