Irvin C. Hunt Sr was 79 years old when he won a $200,000 Powerball prize from Louisiana Lottery Corporation in 2007. He chose his numbers by quick pick, meaning the lottery terminal printed a random set of numbers. At the time, he said he planned to put the money into a savings account. He sure knows how to have fun!
Hunt bought his winning Powerball ticket at Saab's Corner Stop in Youngsville, Louisiana. The store owner received a $2000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
