After finishing her shift as a deli clerk at Bob's Big M Supermarket in New York State on October 18, 2008, Jasmin "Jazzy" Reynolds purchased a Monopoly instant scratch lottery ticket and won! Her prize was $1 million. Reynolds bought one scratch lottery ticket every week since she was 18 (She was 23 when she won). She said that she chose the Monopoly ticket this time because it just looked right to her.
Jasmine Reynolds said that her first purchase would be a safety fence for her three dogs. The rest would be put into a bank account for future use. Everything else will wait until the shock wears off, which may take her a while.
