James W. Edwards won $2,969,071 in OLG's Lotto 6/49 in November of 2008. He chose his winning numbers based on family birthdays.
Most lottery number choosing strategists suggest picking numbers above 31 because there's too many people that choose numbers based on birthdays. They say this because if those lottery numbers hit, there will likely be multiple winners because a lot of people use the same strategy to choose numbers. However, Edwards is not complaining. He won!
James W Edwrads is from Oil Springs Ontario and he purchased his winning ticket at V&F Variety store in Petrolia, Ontario. He had been a regular lottery player for three years prior to hitting the jackpot.
Congratulations to James on his lucky win!
