Do you ever wonder whoever wins those scratch lotto tickets? I must have played dozens in my life and don't ever remember winning more than $5. Well, somebody must win them. That somebody is Teresa Blevins, an Eastern Kentucky resident.
Teresa Blevins, a 50 year old woman, spent $20 to buy a scratch lotto ticket from Kentucky Lottery and won the grand prize of $1 million. She bought it at a conveniance store in Morehead, Kentucky. When she first had the ticket scanned at the store, the lottery scanner said it couldn't handle cashing the ticket. That's when she realized that she won a lot of money.
So, the next time you see those scratch lottery games, realize that some people do actually win.
Congratulations to Teresa Blevins on her big win!
