If you heard that someone bought a winning ticket from the place that you played your lotto, wouldn't you race off to check your tickets immediately? Thomas Cox, of New London, Missouri, did just that. When he heard that someone bought the winning lottery ticket from a convenience store in his hometown, he stopped what he was doing to check the ticket.
And, he won!!!
$1.4 million!!!
Cox plans to use the money to pay for his his three kids' education. He has a daughter that begins college next year. He just says that he is happy. And, we are happy for him!
