Imagine carrying $60 million in your purse without even realizing it. That's what Zorina Kroop did, not knowing that the mega millions lottery ticket that she was carrying in her purse was the winning ticket. Zorina checked the lotto ticket at a 7-Eleven ticket scanner which advised her to see the store clerk. The store clerk, upon scanning the ticket, asked to speak to her in private where he advised her that she was holding the winning ticket.
Shoukat Ali, the franchise owner of the California 7-Eleven that sold the winning ticket also receives $300,000 for selling the ticket.
Zorina Kroop started a janitorial business 20 years ago and developed it into a successful business. With her new found wealth, she plans to do a lot of traveling to visit relatives, hire a nurse to take care of her elderly mother, and to buy a condo for her aunt and uncle.
