Nealious Hodge decided to buy an instant scratch lotto ticket called Extreme Green from Georgia Lottery on his son's 19th birthday in March of 2009. Now, his son will have a great birthday from here on in; that's because Nealious won $1 million!
At the time of his win, Nealious was 42 years old, worked at a Wal Mart distribution center and lived in Opelika, Alabama. The win came as a shock and he said that he almost fainted. He had to ask his uncle to double-check the ticket.
With the big win, Nealious Hodge planned to buy his son a nice birthday present, pay bills, and share the remainder with his siblings.
