Winning The Lottery For Luis Gordillo Must Be Nice

Winning the lottery must be nice. Sure, it would be great to win a super duper mega jackpot, but $200,000 is probably a nice start.

Perhaps you could ask Luis Gordillo how it feels. The man from Providence, Rhode Island won just that amount in January of 2008. Luis Gordillo won the $200,000 by matching the five numbers on Powerball. He would've won the jackpot if he had matched the Powerball number, but we're sure he's not complaining. There's nothing wrong with winning six figures!

Luis Gordillo doesn't even play the lottery very much. The day he bought the ticket, he was on his way to help a friend whose car was broken down. On his way, he stopped at Jefferson Global store and bought a ticket while there. Whadaya know? Perhaps winning the lottery is a reward for being a good samaritan.
