That's Roberto Pulido in the picture. He is 37 years old and has a big family. He's standing with his wife, Gloria, his daughter, Michelle, and his three sons, George, Ivan, and Christian. It must take a lot of hard work and resources to raise such a big family. Luckily, he got some help from Louisiana Lottery Corporation. They paid Roberto $200,000. That's because he won their $200,000 top prize in the Wild 10's scratch-off lotto game.
Roberto Pulido lives in Bayside, Texas. But he won in Louisiana. He tried to go into Louisiana Lottery's headquarters on Mardi Gras to cash his winning ticket. But the office was closed for Mardi Gras. So, Roberto had to wait. And, waiting was hard. He said his heart was racing and he couldn't stand to wait another day to claim his money. But, oh well, it was a holiday and there was nothing he could do about that.
Wild 10's is a scratch-off game from Louisiana Lottery. It costs $10 to play and the odds of winning the grand prize of $200,000, which Roberto Pulido won, are 1-in-480,000. There are other prizes available, ranging from a free ticket to $10,000. There were 960,000 tickets printed, which means that, at the time of isuue, there were two grand-prize winning tickets.
Congratulations to Roberto Pulido and his family on winning the big money.
