It's true, just ask John Garcia of Nampa, Idaho. In March of 2008, John and his friend, Eddie Dietrich, ate at a Chinese restaurant. John's fortune read, "You will inherit a large sum of money." So John kept the fortune in his wallet and the two friends bought some Powerball tickets and won. $600,000! And, guess what? They are glad the fortune cookie was right. No kidding!
