Robert Hong Wins Lottery Twice - Daughter Wants A Hummer

That's Robert Hong with his wife, Susan and daughter, Julia at the check presentation ceremony for his $15 million Lotto 6/49 win in November of 2007. They must be really really happy because that was their second time in less than a year to visit the 6/49 prize office in less than a year. Robert Hong won the lottery twice; he also won $340,000, the second prize, in a Lotto 6/49 draw in April of the same year.

So, what does Robert Hong plan to do with all the money he won? Well, his daughter Julia now wants a Hummer and his other daughter, which couldn't make it to the ceremony because she was studying in university will get the wedding of her dreams.

At the time of his win, Robert Hong and his family lived in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. He was a restaurant owner. The restaurant, Pagoda Chinese restaurant, had been in his family for three generations. He planned to stop working and hire someone else to run the restaurant. His wife, Susan, also planned to retire; she worked as an executive assistant.
