Ted Cormier Jr Wins Max-A-Millions Jackpot From CT Lottery

Ted Cormier Jr - Max-A-MillionsDon't you just love relaxing on your friend porch... Sipping on a coffee, reading the newspaper, listening to the birds chirp, winning $2 million. Ahem, excuse me, it's not everyday you win two million dollars, so maybe you don't really know what that feels like. But Ted Cormier Jr does. He won the $2 million jackpot in October of 2008 playing CT Lottery's Max-A-Millions instant scratch game while relaxing on his front porch.

When he won, Ted Cormier Jr screamed to his wife to come outside because he had some life-changing news to tell her. Then he showed her his winning Max-A-Millions ticket and told her he won $2 million. Neither of them could sleep that night. They kept on walking down to the fridge to look at the ticket that was left hanging there.

Ted Cormier Jr didn't say much about what he would do with the winnings, except to say that he will be seeking advice from a financial professional and that the kids are, now, set for college.

Max-A-Millions is a $20 instant scratch lotto game from CT Lottery. When the game was printed there were eight top prizes of $2 million available, of which Ted won one. There are other smaller prizes, ranging from $20 to $100,000. 4 million tickets were printed, meaning that the odds of winning the grand prize are 1-in-500,000. The overall odds of winning any prize on the Max-A-Millions game are 1-in-3.55.

Congratulations to Ted Cormier Jr on his lucky win!
