There have been people in the that have won the lottery twice on the same draw. Some of these people buy two tickets with the same numbers on purpose. Some do it by accident. Quentin Peters bought 25 DC-4 tickets from DC Lottery.
25 tickets! All with the same numbers. Why did Quentin Peters do that? Because he said he had a hunch. What the...? A hunch? Well, whadaya know - He won!
DC-4 is a pick-4 type of lottery game offered by DC Lottery. The top prize, by matching the numbers straight pays out $5,000. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1-in-10,000. So, with 25 tickets that Quentin bought, he won a grand total of $125,000. Damn, I wish I had a hunch!
At the time of his win, Quentin Peters was an electrician that worked in Washington, DC. He actually always played the same numbers on the DC-4 game. I wonder if he will keep on playing the same numbers now that he has had a big win. Or will he decide that it's time to choose new numbers?
