I play the lottery every week. I know that if I win one day, I'll be sharing with family and friends, especially my best friend that I've known for years. But one thing I've never considered is what if my best friend and I both won the lottery. We definitely wouldn't have to share with eachother. What are the odds, though? That can't happen, right?
Actually, it can happen. That's because it happened to close friends in Georgia that both won the lottery. The top picture is of Donna Echols with her husband. The second picture is of Patricia Taylor. The two are close friends that have known eachother for eight years. Patricia won $5 million from Georgia Lottery playing 15th Anniversary Millionaire Extravaganza in December of 2008 and Donna Echols won $1 million in April of 2009 playing Extreme Green, an instant scratch-off lotto game. Now, they don't have to share with eachother!
At the time of her win, Patricia Taylor said that she didn't have any immediate plans for the money, while Donna Echols said that she planned to save it for retirement.
Congratulations to the two close friends on a highly unlikely win!
