Georgia Lottery Weekly WinFall Winner Charles Jones

Charles Jones - Weekly WinfallCharles Jones, from Powder Springs, Georgia, won Georgia Lottery's Weekly Winfall grand prize of $1 million.

Weekly Winfall was a limited-time game introduced by Georgia Lottery. It ran from April 18 to June 29, 2009. The game costed $10 per play and was a raffle type of game. Each week that the Weekly WinFall game ran, Georgia Lottery chose ten random tickets to win a prize of $5000 from that week's ticket sales. At the end of the game period, Georgia Lottery chose 1500 random tickets from all of the tickets played to win $500 and one final grand prize of $1 million. Charles Jones won the grand prize.

As with many people that win the lottery, Charles Jones had to double check his ticket when he found out that he won. That was to make sure his eyes weren't blurred.

With his winnings, Charles said that he planned to pay off some bills, put some of it away for retirement, share with his parents, in-laws, and children (He and his wife have three kids and one is a student at Kennesaw State University), put the rest away for savings. He's a million dollar winner, yet he didn't plan on buying anything fancy.

Charles Jones bought his winning Weekly WinFall ticket at a Shell gas station located on Sweetwater Road in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

Congratulations to Charles Jones on his lucky winfall!
