If I found out that I'd just won the lottery, I would keep the ticket in the safest place I know of until I was able to claim the prize - My pocket. I wouldn't leave it in the house because the house could catch fire and burn down. I wouldn't leave it in the car because the car could get stolen. The only way for me to lose a lottery ticket that was in my pocket would be for someone to mug me and take it. And, that wouldn't happen - I would kick their ass!
Mark Tapley won the lottery. $2000 every week for the rest of his life with an instant scratch lotto ticket from Washington Lottery called, Rich For Life. Then he put the ticket in, what he says, was a safe place - locked safely in his car. What?!?! Oh boy, if that car got stolen, that would suck bad. But things worked out well because Mark Tapley got to cash in the winning and is now rich for life.
At the time of his win, Mark Tapley was living in Ferndale, Washington with his wife and twin daughters. He bought the winning Rich For Life Ticket at the Ferndale Mini Market where his wife works. He scratched the ticket in his car before leaving and that's where he found out that he won. He remembers driving home that day, passing things like RV lots and thinking of all of the wonderful things he would be able to buy now that he was rich, including an RV! He also said that his twin daughters' education would now be paid for and that he would take the family on a trip to Hawaii.
Rich For Life is a $10 instant scratch lotto game from Washington Lottery. $2000 per week for life is the top prize, with many smaller prizes, ranging from $10 to $50,000.
Congratulations to Mark Tapley for becoming rich!
