Tom McArdle - Freight Train Conductor Wins Cash 5 Lottery

Tom McArdleTom McArdle always plays Powerball. He never misses a draw. Who could blame home. Most of us dream of winning the Powerball jackpot. Back in October of 2006, it was a Saturday and Tom bought his regular Powerball tickets. But this time, he also decided to go with a Cash 5 ticket. The next morning, he went to check his Powerball tickets. They were all losers. Again. But then he remembered that he had the Cash 5 ticket too. He might as well check that one also. And, what do you know - Cash 5 came through. He held a winning $100,000 ticket!

At the time of his win, Tom McArdle lived in New Milford, Connecticut, USA. He made his living as a freight train conductor.

When asked what he planned to do with the money, Tom McArdle replied that his wife had already picked out a new car. Aside from that, he said that he would also use the money to pay off some credit card bills and fix up a few things around the house.

Maybe one day, Tom will get to win a Powerball jackpot. But, hey, $100,000 is good too!
