However, he planned to shorten his work week to three days from five days.

With the money, Glen planned to buy houses for his three kids and also planned on buying some motorcycles. Heck, he could buy whatever he wants now!

Video Of Lottery Winner Jose Salmon - Gambling Addict Spent $600/Day On Lottery Tickets

Jose Salmon - Lottery BuyerDo you ever spend more than you should on lottery tickets? A lot of people do, especially when there are huge jackpots to be won. Sure, some are problem gamblers and their addiction sometimes drives them to go broke.

But, take Jose Salmon. He was so sure that one day he would win the lottery that he played big. Since 1998, he'd been playing $600/day on lottery tickets. That caused him to rack up $600,000 in lottery debt. His wife wasn't to thrilled. That is, until Jose hit the big one in August 2007. $13 million from Florida lottery. Jose Salmon hit the jackpot. Finally!

Jose says that now that he won the jackpot, he will quit playing the lottery. Something tells me his addiction will still drive him to play. Gambling is an addiction that's hard to quit, just like any addiction like smoking or drinking.

Ianthe Fullagar - Bitten On AssIanthe Fullagar won £7 million ($8,797,546 USD) in the Euromillions lottery in 2008. In the sudden state of excitement, her dog, a Parson Jack Russell terrier, became discombobulated and bit her on the ass. Oh well, at least she won the lottery.

But with lottery wins comes other problems. Like, where to hide your ticket. Ianthe Fullagar decided to hide it in her bra. Nobody would ever look there, right?

At the time of her win, Ianthe was living with her grandparents in Ravenglass, Cumbria, England. She was a waitress and on a one year break from school. She was to start law school in 2009. She still plans on going to law school and being a normal student.

Eric And Sue Tarry Win National Lottery By Mistake With Lucky Dip

Eric And Sue TarryYou know how some people play the same lottery numbers for each draw, hoping that, one day, their lucky numbers will match and they'll become instant millionaires? Eric and Sue Tarry, from Fakenham, England, used to do that. And, they won £7,649,917 ($10,885,486 USD)... by mistake!

See, Eric and Sue play the same numbers every week. But one Saturday morning late in 2008, Eric was buying a newspaper at the store when the clerk asked him if he'd like to buy a lottery ticket. Eric had forgotten his numbers in the car, so he bought a 'Lucky Dip' ticket instead (Lucky Dip is the same as a Quick Pick where the computer generates a random set of numbers). And, it's a good thing he forgot those numbers in the car because the Lucky Dip ticket won him UK's National Lottery Jackpot! So, you can say Eric and Sue Tarry won the lottery by mistake.

Eric and Sue run a local auto garage that employs three people. They plan on keeping the garage running despite their big win. They do plan on buying a new car, though. Their old Mitsubishi Shogun needed to be replaced.

Roger Booker - Man With Fat Wallet Kisses Lottery Clerk On Forehead

Roger Booker - Lottery KissRoger Booker is a man with a fat wallet. That's because he buys lottery tickets, but doesn't check them until his wallet gets too big. There were three winners in Canada's big $43 million jackpot for the January 24, 2009 draw. The first two winners were Jorma Hogbacka and David Thompson. Roger Booker was the third to claim his prize of $14.8 million. But it took him two weeks to check his tickets. Maybe because his wallet wasn't big enough yet. We bet his wallet will be fatter than ever for the rest of his life.

When Roger Booker finally came around to checking his tickets at a local store, he grabbed the clerk from across the counter and gave him a big kiss on his forehead. Roger must've been really happy!

Roger Booker is from Pickering, Ontario, Canada. He is married to his wife, Kim and has two kids. They all showed up at the OLG lottery prize office to pick up his winnings together. Roger doesn't plan on leaving his job from Toronto Hydro. He thinks he would get too bored if he didn't work. He does plan on buying a cottage and travelling across Canada in the near future.

He woke up one day to hear the news broadcast that somebody in Boise won the Powerball jackpot. And, guess waht? It was him! He woke his roommate, screaming, "I won the lottery!"

Time for celebration, isn't it. Well, if your idea of celebrating is spending a night in jail, then yes. A few months after winning, Eric was involved in a car accident and arrested for being intoxicated and carrying a weapon. He spent one night in jail. It's not the Four Seasons, but hey, at least he learned his lesson.

New Father Wins $1 Million Lottery Jackpot In Florida's Holiday Millionaire Raffle

Christopher S. KellyIs it expensive to raise a baby these days? Would a $1 million windfall help?

Is that a newborn baby in Christopher S. Kelly's hands? It sure looks like it. He must be a new father. $1 million would probably go a long way in helping to raise the newborn baby.

Christopher S. Kelly won $1 million in Florida's Holiday Millionaire Raffle.

Christopher is 30 years old, married, and works as a handyman. He lives in North Fort Myers, Florida. He purchased his winning lotto ticket at Brown's Country Corner on Medulla Rd in Plant City, Florida.

Congratulations to Christopher on his nice win!

Thomas Noftall - Unlucky Lottery Ticket Printing Error Becomes Lucky

Thomas Noftall - Unlucky LotteryImagine buying an instant scratch lottery ticket and finding out that it is a jackpot winner. That would feel awesome! Then imagine trying to cash it, only to be told that it is not a winner but, rather, a misprinted ticket. That would be quite unlucky... or maybe not.

It happened to Thomas Noftall. He thought he had won $135,000 on an instant scratch lottery ticket. But he wasn't so lucky. The ticket was a printing error. OLG (Ontario Lottery And Gaming) realized the mistake and recalled the batch of tickets that were misprinted. But that wasn't good enough for Thomas. He hired a lawyer.

His lawyer was able to get Thomas an undisclosed settlement and an apology. An apology? NICE!!! Actually, we're more interested in the settlement. However, nobody knows what the settlement was, other than Thomas, his lawyer, OLG lottery officials, and six flies that happened to be on the wall at the time of negotiations. Too bad. We'll never know.

But Thomas Noftall gets cash despite buying a losing lottery ticket. He does have a good formula for getting cash, though: Buy losing lottery ticket; get lawyer; get money!

Second Ontario 6/49 Winner Of Huge $43 Million Jackpot Is David Thompson

David Thompson - Huge 6/49 WinnerOn January 24th, 2009, the Lotto 6/49 estimated jackpot in Canada was $43 million. When the final ticket sales were recorded, the jackpot was slightly more. There were three winners, all in Ontario, that shared the jackpot. Jorma Hogbacka was the first to claim his share of the prize, $14.8 million. David Thompson is now the second to claim his as well.

David Thompson didn't even check his tickets until five days after the draw. The draw was held on Saturday and he went to a newsstand at East York Town Centre on Thursday to check his tickets. When the machine started playing the winning music and showed that he won $14.8 million, he just put the ticket back in his pocket, turned around, and took off. He didn't want to publicize that he was carrying millions of dollars in his pocket. He went home, signed the ticket, and left it there until he went to pick up his winnings at OLG's prize office the next morning.

That night, David couldn't sleep. He kept dreaming that he lost the ticket.

Like the other winner in the draw, Jorma Hogbacka, David Thomspon is single. But unlike Hogbacka, who wants to find a girl to enjoy his winnings with, Thompson plans to remain single.
