Do you believe in lottery hotspots? I mean, do you think that certain stores are luckier than others when it comes to selling winning lottery tickets? Or, is it just a statistical occurrence - With thousands of stores selling lottery tickets, you're bound to get some stores that sell multiple winners?
Whatever you think, Sarah Williams (Pictured here, on the left) claims the store that she bought her ticket at, the Stewert's Shops store in Halfmoon New York, is a hot spot. The store sold her a winning instant scratch-off ticket called Triple Million. She won the game's top prize of $3 million.
But it isn't just that she bought a winning ticket from the store. The same store sold two other winning tickets - A $1 million winning ticket in January of 2009 and a $1 million winning ticket in March of 2009.
Does this make the Stewart's Shops a lucky lottery store? Maybe. If you think it's lucky, swing by and buy a lottery ticket - The store is located on Route 146 in Halfmoon NY, which is just outside of Albany.
Sarah Williams scratched her ticket inside the store. "I just scratched it quick and I was like, 'Wow, I just won the jackpot,'" She said. "My mom started freaking and I had to call my father."
At the time of her win, Sarah Williams was 26-years-old. She said that she will use the money to buy a new car and maybe a house for her parents, but she will save most of it.
