Sheena Venzant Wins Washington's Lucky For Life Scratch Game

Sheena Venzant - Lucky For LifeSheena Venzant was recently at the store with her sister. While at the checkout, she was looking over the scratch games. She then asked her sister, "Would you be OK with winning $1000 a week?" That's a rhetorical question - Everybody would be OK with that. So Sheena bought a Lucky For Life ticket which offers a prize of, wouldn't you know, $1000 a week for life.

Guess what happened next... Sheena scratched the ticket and she won - $1000 a week for life! Lucky!

If I were Sheena's sister, I'd be asking her if she'd be OK with winning $10 million. Hey, it's worth a try - If it worked once, it could happen again, right?

The Lucky For Life scratch game is offered by Washington Lottery and costs $5 to play. The odds of winning the $1000 a week for life prize are approximately 1-in-1.1-million.

At the time of her win, Sheena Venzant was a mother of two, living in Seattle, and working at Harborview Medical Center. Even with the lottery win, she plans to keep working at her job. Sheena said that she would use the money to get out of debt and buy a house. She also plans to put some aside for her kids' college funds.

Congratulations to Sheena on her lucky win.
